Review: Everything about the film was perfect. The motion-capture technique with which the film was made, as well as the characters that are familiar from my childhood, it was all so great. Jamie Bell was great as Tintin, he really brought something special to the character. The humour was also spot-on.

Thanks to his fractured state of mind and her vivid imagination, the line between fiction and reality starts to blur as the tale advances.

Key Cast: Jamie Bell, Julie Walters, Gary Lewis.

Run Time: 110 minutes.

Summary: A talented young boy becomes torn between his unexpected love of dance and the disintegration of his family.

Review: I love everything about this film, especially Jamie Bell's performance. It was absolutely brilliant, in more ways than one. Even as a young boy he was extremely gorgeous, so watching him was not something I complained about. Seeing how Billy was treated by his family made me incredibly angry, but that was the only negative feeling I had when I watched the film.

101 Dalmatians (1961)

101 Dalmatians (1961)

Genre: Animation | Adventure | Family

Production Co: Walt Disney.

Run Time: 79 minutes.

Summary: When a litter of dalmatian puppies are abducted by the minions of Cruella De Vil, the parents must find them before she uses them for a diabolical fashion statement.

Review: This is one of my favourite Disney classics and I used to watch it a lot when I was little, so the film stir old memories and it's quite emotional. I feel particularly strongly about animals as main characters and I love how the dogs interact with one another. The 'twilight bark' is amazing, one of my favourite scenes in the film, and it kind of makes me wonder if dogs actually can communicate that way.
